Skin Texture

Why does my skin still look dull despite using skincare?

Concise answer

Dull-looking skin can reflect dehydration, rough texture, irritation, sun exposure, pigment, sleep or normal variation in how light reflects from the face. More products are not always the answer.

Frequent exfoliation may briefly feel smooth while gradually increasing sensitivity and uneven colour.

A consistent barrier-supportive routine and an assessment of the main concern are more useful than chasing an undefined glow.

When evaluation may help

Review may help when dullness is accompanied by persistent pigment, acne, rash, scaling or a sudden change in general health.
